Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Vaelor app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.
What Vaelor is
Vaelor connects to your Tesla vehicle through Tesla's official Fleet API (with your explicit authorization) and proactively manages cabin comfort and charging: pre-conditioning before departures, arrival cooling, battery-aware guardrails and cost-aware charging schedules.
Your responsibilities
- You must own the vehicle (or have the owner's permission) to connect it.
- Keep your account credentials secure; actions taken from your account are yours.
- Remain responsible for your vehicle at all times — including charge level, cabin safety and local regulations. Vaelor is an assistant, not a substitute for your judgment.
Vehicle commands — important
Vaelor sends real commands to your vehicle (climate on/off, charging schedule/limits) based on learned patterns, your settings and your confirmations. Automations can be affected by connectivity, Tesla service availability, firmware changes or vehicle sleep states. Battery use from climate features is inherent to how EVs work. You accept that outcomes may vary and that you use automated features at your own discretion. Safety guardrails (battery floors, auto shut-offs) are provided on a best-effort basis.
Subscription
- Vaelor Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
- It renews automatically until canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel anytime: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Free-trial terms, prices and periods are shown in the app before purchase.
- The free tier keeps core manual controls; Pro unlocks the proactive features.
Fair use & availability
We may throttle, suspend or discontinue features (or accounts abusing the service) to protect the platform. The service depends on third parties (Tesla, Apple, cloud providers) and may be interrupted; we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nsightlytics is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including battery drain, missed departures, charging costs or vehicle unavailability — arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Vaelor and delete your account (and all data) anytime in the app: Profile → Delete Account. You can also revoke Vaelor's access from your Tesla account.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
